I was worried about getting home today as it actually snowed down south last night and it was settling on the ground. Very unusual for this time of year. All flights last night were cancelled apparently (we don't cope with snow very well in this country) but today was fine.
So what do i have to update.....well, my tablerunner is coming along well. Im way behind everyone else in the class who are now putting their binding on. I still have to tack it and then do the quilting. As i said, i'm very behind, but work has been all consuming recently and all the other women in the class have a lot more free time than me. Here's how it looks so far. Im pleased with how my fabrics look together
I only managed to stitch a wee bit last week and so i worked on CdC for the Snowbirds SAL. Here's the progress
This week i really have to get working on Edgar's RR which is due soon. Im way behind on blog reading (250 in my google reader aaah) and replying to emails....hopefully i'll get caught up soon. Have a good week!

Great progress on your CdeC! :) And that diner - oh my gosh, I'd love to go to a place like that. Give me a malted and a cheeseburger!
I hope work calms down for you soon. Keeping busy can be great, but you need a little down time too. Your quilting is looking fantastic! Such patience for hand stitching. :) Sounds like you had a brilliant weekend away. We used to have a 50s style theme diner near here, but sadly it closed down. They had the best cheese and bacon topped chips I've ever tasted.
Your table runner is looking lovely, such great colors and I like the different patterns. CdC is looking good too. Glad you had fun with your friends, sounds like a great time. Hopefully work slows down a bit for you soon so that you have a little more free time (especially with the holidays coming up).

The table runner is beautiful and great job on CdC!
CdeC is lovely. I've just orcdered this chart, have no idea what fabric or threads to use.....lol I'm sure I'll figure something out eventually. I want to try and work it into a rotation in 2008 along with another million things I wanna stitch!!! lol
That Diner looks great...glad you enjoyed your trip. Can't believe there's snow in UK....it flippin' better stay there...lol
Happy Stitching.....
Oh your table runner is looking great too... :-)
The table runner looks beautiful! The colours and fabrics all look great together. CdeC is coming along nicely too. And I know what you mean about Edgar's RR, although I'm looking forward to stitching on it, I really need to push on and finish Donna's!
A weekend away sounds wonderful ~ but eeks, snow on the ground already! What a great looking diner - did you have a cheeseburger and onion rings?
Your WIP's looks great!!
Nothing like a greasy cheeseburger and an order of fries and a flavored soda! We have diners all over like this one :)
Your quilt squares are looking so pretty!
And CdC is coming right along!
Your table runner is so pretty.
Your Ink circle is going to be
awesome. It is still 80 degree down here.... no sign of winter.

CdC looks great and so does your tablerunner!
I'm glad you had a good time after all the work you have been doing. What a great looking diner! I can almost hear the clink of dishes and glasses. Now I want a cheeseburger!
It's great that you were able to get away for a weekend like that after all the trouble you've had with work lately. The diner looks great!
Your table runner is beautiful! And CdC is looking sooo good!! Hope the snow doesn't follow you. We're expecting some on Thursday of this week. Yuck!
me again... i'm just wondering what threads you have used for CdeC and how many you ordered? I've found Carries Creations, "berry swirl" but not sure how many to order,....
thanks and happy stitching....
Hey Cheryl....
Yes , if you could post a snap on the BB I would appreciate it, I am just not smart enough to figure it out. :)
Thanks again!!!!!
I already have it hanging up with my other x-stitched things so that everyone coming over tomorrow for Thanksgiving can admire your wonderful handy-work!!!

The Runner looks wonderful and CdC is terrific.
Your runner is wonderful! I love the striped fabric.
Cirque is gorgeous, too. Are you using the variegated DMC? Very pretty!
Sorry to hear work keeps getting in the way. I have retired friends and I see what their lives are like and I think its just no fair! I've got 24 more years to go!
Thank goodness you had a weekend away. It sounds like life is very full these days. I love those 50's diners. We have one here. You table runner is beautiful. I love your choice of fabrics.
