Gifts

Thanks to everyone who has been commenting recently. I love reading them and i have lots of new blogs to check out some day soon when time/baby allows! Thanks to those who gave some breastfeeding advice/support - it is much appreciated!

Now i have to show this wonderful handmade hanging ornie that Hazel sent me for Caleb! I couldnt get a clear photo because its already hanging up. I love it! Handmade pressies mean so much. Hazel, you are so kind! Isnt it great?
And i also received this lovely card from Dawn yesterday. Its my birthday on 1st March and Dawn and i share birthdays. Such a lovely card. Thank-you so much Dawn, it was so nice of you to remember me!
Now i cant finish without posting another Caleb photo! You readers might get bored of baby pictures, but hey, its my blog and he's changing so much week by week i like to document it! Hes doing great, put on another 9oz this week which is so encouraging for me when ive been stressing about the breastfeeding

Congratulations on the birth of Caleb, he is gorgeous. Well done on the breast feeding also, sounds like he is like my DD was, but I only managed 6 weeks as she just wouldn't feed and screamed the place down permanently by that point. Kudos to you for keeping going.

Keep posting the baby pics - they are so cute at that age. I breastfed both my kids, it was hard work but worth it - my boy Joe would feed for what felt like hours and hours but took this to my advantage and got comfy in my recliner and read loads of books - really relaxing..

Congratulations! I remember my son also wanted to nurse OFTEN (every hour or two). The health nurse said that this was very normal - lots of work but normal! I set up the couch as a reading/nursing station. I sat in the middle, books on either side, and read and nursed. Good on you for keeping it up (at the same time, never feel bad if you move to formula - loving them is the most important!)

Dear Cheryl, You are such a good mother, and doing everything right with Caleb! Breast feeding is the best start he can ever have in so many ways. What a precious little guy he is and how fortuneate to have a mommy like you who starts out working hard to give him all the best. Love and hugs, Deb

Awww my hanging gingies lol! I think its probably a better pic than the one I got lol. Your baba is so cute! Lovely gift from Dawn too. I tried Breast feeding twice but I just couldn't do it. Little Elijah was feeding for hours and then vomiting it all up with a load of blood he'd been sucking out of me! Nice! Dh says our kids have been raised on Smash (SMA) lol! They are healthy and happy and that's what's important. In the olden days they used wet nurses so it's not a new problem. Some can do it and some struggle and some just can't! xx
