No stitching at the weekend but the most expensive RR ever (see previous post LOL) did arrive on Friday and i started work on it straight away. This is Donna's piece that im working on. For those of you that don't know, we are doing a LHN themed Round Robin. You can follow our progress on the Heartfelt Friends RR blog. Donna's fabric is lovely, much nicer than the one ive sent on. Mine was just a plain cream cashel linen. I think she said hers is a 28ct hand dyed jobelan. Donna wants a country or lodge theme. There's nothing more "country" in Scotland than some sheep! Im using LHN's "the counting house." Here's a close up (sorry about the shadow). I hope you like it Donna! In my last post i wrote about the kindness of stitching bloggers and once again i have been showered with kindness by a relatively new blogging friend. Selina sent me a gift voucher at the weekend for her online store. Selina, thank-you so much. That was so kind of you and so unexpected! I really appreciate it. You should check out Selina's website sometime!
Thank-you to everyone who comments and reads my blog. I really do appreciate you all. I've had a few new commentors recently, please leave me a link to your blog and i will stop by. I like to visit the blog of anyone that stops by mine. I guess that's why i have so many in my google reader :) I enjoy seeing what everyone is stitching, it's great motivation.
Finally, i have no West of Scotland weekend photos for you so i'll post this one that i took in Crieff last weekend. This mushroom was growing in the middle of no whereHave a good week!

Those toadstools grow here, in the Veluwe, in autumn. They're very pretty. :)
That's a gorgeous NRR and I love your sheepie start.
Oh, does that mean Autumn is definitely coming? To be honest with you, it seems like we went from Spring right into Autumn this year, so I can't complain :o)
What a lovely RR this is, Cheryl. You've made an excellent start!
What a beautiful mushroom :)
That is one expensive RR...hope you get the charges dropped. I love your start, and that sheep is sweet!
Ooh a LHN RR, I just love LHN patterns. I'm anxious to follow the progress of this one. Nice start! Your mushroom pic is very cute!
I always thought those toadstools are caused by dog's pee'ing in the same spot LOL. That one toadstool is really cute though, I've never seen it in that color, it's very fairy tale'y..Look underneath maybe there is a dwarf? tee hee
What a lovely gift from your friend Selina, woo hoo..now get shopping!
Those RR's are lovely =)
Selina is such a nice person. Love the RR you are doing. That's neet about the mushroom. Happy stitching
I love sheep! Glad you liked the linen choice I picked. It does stitch nicely.
I've never seen a red mushroom!
Donna
You've made a nice start on the RR. Your sheep makes me smile.
I've never seen a toadstool IRL before. Thank you for the pic :) The RR is coming along nicely.

The rr is going to be gorgeous, I hope you'll be able to post a pic of it when it's all finished.
WOW that's a mushroom? It looks like a ceramic one stuck in the ground...lol
Happy stitching.....
Cheryl could you e-mail me. I'd like to get your address from you. my e-mail can be found in my side bar under 'about me' on my blog. Thanks.
What lovely fabbie for an RR... did you ever figure out why it cost so much?
A friend of mine had something similar happen and she photographed and documented everything sent it off to Canada post and they sent her a cheque for the duty! Worth a try!
Great start on the RR - I love the sheep!
Nice RR you're working on. I love the fabric ;)
What a great start on Donna's RR!!! That is a really pretty mushroom.
great start on the rr!
Hi! Great start on the RR. That is the most colorful mushroom, I've ever seen. Thanks for sharing.
Wow, that's going to be a beautiful RR! I love the pattern you chose for it!
Donna's rr is really lovely. I love the fabrics, but personally always sent out the usual fabrics too. Maybe next time I will remember hand-dyed fabrics.
glad you enjoy your little gift. I was not sure what you'd like, so a gc was perfect :)
lovely mushroom picture. Have a lovely day :)
The RR is looking fantastic! Hope you get the customs issues sorted soon.
Wow pricey RR, I hope theyr eturn your money. Why did they hold it? Do you know? I like your RR piece so far. That mushroom reminds me of the mario brothers games, lol.
That mushroom is bright! I've never seen anything like it before, reminds me of poisonous frogs.
Love your cute sheep on the RR and I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of the block develop.
You're off to a lovely start on your RR. What a cool looking mushroom!
Is that mushroom really red? Looks like something in a fairy tale!
The RR is looking wonderful. I really like The Counting House, so I'll enjoy watching you stitch your square. Glad you were able to get the package, and hopefully you'll be able to get them to give you your money back that customs charged.
