Spring has sprung

There is still snow on some of the hills over the River Clyde but apart from that, it definitely feels like spring is here. DH bought me these daffodils the other day. Today has been a beautiful sunny day and seeing as im in training for the 10K, i went for a run. I can just about run 3miles now without collapsing. 10k is 6.2miles so i still have some work to do!

My travels are over for the time being. Our next adventure is down to Bath in April for a wedding. Ive loved being at home this weekend! I finished chart number 1 on my Dear Diary SAL yesterday. This is Hannah Purington, definitely one of my favourites of this DD series
I forgot to post last week that i received a lovely PIF gift from Heidi. She made this crocheted needlecase. This is the first crocheted item i own so thank-you so much Heidi!
After trying to resist for a long time, ive given in and have started to watch Lost. My friend at work gave me season 1. I've heard everyone say that it is hard going and there are still no answers by season 3 but im going to watch it anyway and see how it goes!

Congratulations on finishing Hannah's portion of the DD Sampler! I didn't work on mine all this last week. The daffodils are very cheerful.

Congrats on finishing the sampler :-) Hope you enjoy Lost...I'm a faithful watcher but I'm so lost (no pun intended) that my cousin has to explain it to me. It is a GOOD show though. Glad to hear you had a nice weekend at home :-)

Your block looks great!

We got disgusted with Lost, over here in the US, they kept replaying reruns, so we gave up. Glad your getting better with running! It'd kill me!

Thanks for sharing your daffodils! I do so love those flowers.

Congrats on your stitching... which, as usual, is lovely and makes me want to get going on my Diary pieces. Sigh. No time, no time, must finish existing projects. Must NOT start new stuff!!! lol It's not working.

Happy Spring!

The daffodils look lovely, so bright and cheery. Congrats on hitting the 3 mile mark, that's quite an accomplishment. You're doing great on your goal to do the marathon.

Your recent finish of Hannah looks wonderful, which one are you starting next?

Nice gifts you have received too.

BTW Bath is one of my favourite places and I wish I was coming with you . Oh well ....I shall just have to start one of Tanya's samplers instead ;-))

Have a great easter weekend .

Such pretty flowers! And great going with your 3m run!!

Lost is an amazing show. We had the DVD set so we had mini-marathons of Season I and Season II and still can't get enough of it.
