Stitching for meeeee

Just a short post to show some stitching at last! This one is actually for me too. I can't remember the last time i stitched something for me! It's from The Prairie Schooler 12 Days of Christmas and as i mentioned in my last post, im making 12 little ornaments. I just need to buy some ribbon so that i can finish it as an ornament, i'll hopefully do that tomorrow. So here is a partridge in a pear tree....

Quilting class number 2 tonight! We begin cutting...wish me luck!

Thanks for visiting my blog to say hello. Hello to you too. Your stitching is lovely. I love the Prairie Schooler 12 days. You are so lucky to have a quilt class nearby - we are quite in the sticks here so have to make our own fun!

Good luck with the cutting tonight! I never did figure out if my quiliting nightmares were from messing up the cutting, or just not sewing things right. Either way, I leave the quilting stuff to my mother.

Grats on finishing something for yourself. I love these little PS ornaments, and have the chart. I think 1 of my New Year's resolutions is going to be to stitch one of these a month, so by Christmas 2008 I have the whole set.

I have the same chart, and I'm going to try to stitch on the Linen Band!

That'll make a lovely collection of ornaments! How was quilting class - how did the cutting go?

Thanks for the lovely card you sent with Donna's RR. I haven't been up in Perthshire for a very long time, but I have a feeling I've been to Comrie at some point! My Perthshire ancestors are mainly from the area between Dunkeld and Pitlochry. Got to get up there sometime!
