Climbing

The climbing arena was great. The kids i work with had a blast. I was slightly worried when we got there and i had to sign something that said the centre wouldn't be responsible for death and then when the first activity seen my young people suspended from the ceiling, a long way off the groundand then seeing them climb this far but it was all fine! They're a great group who were rewarded with this trip for their volunteering in the community over the last two years. Im very proud of them.

I think all the worry wore me out because i was in bed at 9pm last night and sound asleep by 10pm. My new stitching start sums up my feelings

So true!! :-)

That sure looks fun. When you sign papers it always makes you wonder of the real dangers, you dont even think of. I love that saying. I also saw a new chart out that says "Home... is where I hide my stash"

Looks like a great weekend was had by all; but no matter how much fun you have there is always something comforting about being home again.

The new project looks good

I love that Jane Austen sampler! I have got to get that one!! The climbing area looked so fun but I can imagine having to sign that paper would have given you pause.:)

Oh MY I could not do that - wimp here. I've heard it's fun but not for me - I'll admire from afar. LOL Your stitching is lovely and yes, that verse does welcome comforts, doesn't it?

I agree with your sampler 100%!
It looks like you had a fun time with your group. I'd love to do something like that but, I don't know if I have the nerve or not.

Great color choice on the Jane Austen. Not sure I could even watch the climbing, let alone do it.

I love the Jane Austin quote. I'm taking great comfort lately in relaxing at home! Especially tonight - there's a wicked wind blowing outside my window.
