Snowfall and WIPS

We had our first snow fall of 2008 yesterday. Not much compared with what some of you North Americans get but this suits me fine. Anymore than this and everything is a nightmare. Our country can't handle snow!My boss text me the other day to say that i could have today off and just start back on Monday! I was so happy! I though it was dumb starting back on a Friday anyway.

So here's some progress pics of some pieces i've been stitching recently. The first is Lizzy's RR and im stitching LHN's Mary Heaton (from the Dear Diary Series). It was stitching on this RR that made me decide to stitch all the Dear Diary Series for myself. And here is Cirque. I had a bit of a break from it just before Christmas so this is my week 7 progress. The end is nigh for page 1....maybe next week?
Check back soon for my blogiversary!

Love your CdC progress!!

No snow here, but it's been cold enough, off and on, to freeze the ponds. Very exciting for the kids, who want to skate!

Gorgeous WIPs, Cheryl! And snow? That's not nearly enough! I love the stuff! LOL If you think Scotland's bad when it snows, it's much worse down here. I know people who won't leave home the second a snowflake is spotted in the sky!

I love Cirque. You inspired me to buy 3 charts, yanno: Cirque, Coffee menu & the mirabilia fairy. I'd been look, look, looking for months but after seeing yours I bit the bullet!

Happy New Year! Lucky you not having to go back until Monday - Thursday and Friday were a slog let me tell you :)

Congrats on your CdC progress - it's looking great! I think stitching the Dear Diary series sounds like a wicked plan and I'll keep and eye on you and Vonna for sure - what a great idea!

Cirque is looking good. With big projects like these a dance at the end of a page is in order. And snow, I don't think there is a country that is equipped to handle it. Even where I live, and we get lots of snow, anything more than a spoonful disrupts everything.
Your RR is lovely and I am looking forward to seeing your SAL with Vonna.

Oh, lovely! I love watching your CdC grow. We had a little bit of snow (flurries for less than 5 minutes on Friday!) and I think that's my limit for this year, lol.
