Winners!

Wow, i was not expecting the 50 comments i got for my blogiversary contest! Thanks everyone for entering. Its been fun having so many comments to read the last few days. I decided to pick 3 winners because there were so many entries. This will be instead of doing a PIF offer this year. However, when i drew names from a hat i picked 4 out by accident and didnt know who to put back so its now 4 winners LOL

Congratulations to:
Nicola
Staci

Staci, im not sure if you have a blog? Could you all email me your addresses please? My email is cherylthomas3000 at yahoo dot com Michele was one of the ladies i sent a PIF to last year and she commented that my blog was one of the first she started reading consistently which was really nice to hear so i am thrilled to stitch for her again!

I was a winner myself this week. Merci very kindly donated this kit to the Stitch Pink Blog and i was lucky enough to win it. I received everything needed to stitch and finish it! Thanks Merci for donating it and Kim for mailing it out!
I joined Tanya's yahoo group the other day which is The Jane Austen Stitching Group. Ive been enjoying the BBC's new adaptation of Sense and Sensibility recently. They've shown 2 out of 3 parts already. Any other UK folk been watching it? I love the film Sense and Sensibility with Emma Thompson and Kate Winslet. So, Tanya's group have inspired another new start for me this week. Yes, another new start! Ive started stitching "At home with Jane Austen" which you can see finished here but here's my startIm awaiting the result of the poll to see which Austen book we will be reading in February. Should be fun!
We are getting bashed with gale force winds and heavy rain at the moment. I noticed we have a few tiles off our roof. I couldnt get to work this morning as the roads are flooded and covered in debris and the trains are off. Im going to try and leave again in a few hours.

It was a lovely surprise to learn that I am one of your winners, thank you so much. (I have e-mailed you.) Congratulations to the other winners too.

You've made a great start on the Jane Austen sampler, I'm looking forward to watching it grow.

Hope the bad weather soon improves for you. We had howling winds, lots of rain, and even some snow last night. Glad to say it's a much better day today so far.

I stitched Jane Austen At Home for my father's wedding anniversary. It's a lovely design. I'm in Tanya's group too, but am practically a lurker at the moment. ;)

Congrats on your win!!!

I don't envy your storms, although I do envy your 'snow day' and not being able to get in :)

Your Jane Austen is going to be great - and reading the books too, you'll get the whole experience! I haven't been watching the series, but only because I was away when they showed the first episode, and I turned it on the other night in anticipation only to find it was part 2 of 3 - damn!

Congratz to the winners! Lucky girls :D

We're getting hammered here too, with the wind at the start of the week and now the rain.

On Monday I had to hold tight-tight-tight to Brianna's hand as we walked to school in the gales, because she was like a kite, hahahah.

Cheryl!! Thank you so much for this link! I'm such a Jane Austen fan!! Must be buried back in my blog someplace, and I'm dying to join you in this new group...I've asked to join tonight. Can't wait to meet you there for discussions, etc. Last week I added "The Lost Memoirs of Jane Austen" by Syrie James, to my "Not Really Official Jane Austen but Fun to Read Anyway Books." LOL
Hugs,
Deb

Happy Belated Blogaversary, time does fly when you're having fun doesn't it. Both the Diary projects you're stitching (RR and your SAL) are looking great. I saw one earlier where they were all on one piece and it looked fantastic. It was fun seeing an update of you CdC as well, so pretty. Your Jane Austin piece will be lovely as well. With all these beautiful pieces going you're going to have a hard time deciding which to work on. :)
