No news yet

As you can see from my baby gaga pregnancy ticker above, baby really should be here by now...and isnt!!! Aaaaahhh. Its frustrating. However, trying to be positive, you're not pregnant that often in life so i should just enjoy it whilst it lasts right?! I think its the not knowing whats coming and when thats hard - im a relatively organised person and i like to be in control - this is just outwith those specifications!! Patience Cheryl patience (did i mention im impatient too? LOL) Unfortunately, i will have to be taken into hospital to be induced if something doesn't happen soon. It goes against everything ive wanted and, to be honest, i dread induction, but so be it. So, that'll happen sometime between Friday and Monday i think. I see my midwife again tomorrow and details will be arranged with the hospital. So if you believe in prayer, as i do, prayers are much appreciated!

In the meantime i'll post some WIP pictures. Here is my progress this week on my Feather Fairy for the Mirabilia SAL

and here is my progress on my Dear Diary Landscape for the Me, Myself and I RR (bad light in this photo)

Oh I know the waiting totally stinks....and I was much like you are too :) God has a plan and he'll see you through...

Oh dear Cheryl, I will be thinking of you lots in the next couple of days. But one thing is certain: you *will* have your baby next week. Unbelievable, isn't it? Good luck!

Hope baby makes an appearance soon :) Out of my 4 pregnancies 1 came on the due date and the other three came between 7 and 14 days late with only one needing to be induced! The waiting will be worth it in the end :) By the way lovely stitching too!

sending big hugs and prayers. The little one will be here soon!
At least while waiting, you are getting some wonderful stitching done. Nice progresses!

Baby will come when it's ready, whether you're ready for it or not! I was getting really twitchy when Iona was overdue and was quite glad to be offered another caesarian!

My babies were late and 2 were induced, so believe me I remember well what it was like to be in your shoes. But they don't stay in there forever although it may feel like it! I'll be thinking of you!!!

I know it's hard, but also very exciting... I'm thinking of you and will be stalking your blog for news! ;-)

I was induced with my son 10 years ago and had no problems. I know you hear of the labor being worse but just so you know it's not always bad.

Sorry that you're having to wait! Hope that you're at least enjoying your stitching before that precious little baby arrives!

My boys are 38 and 34. One came a month early and the other was induced. Even back then in the Dark Ages inducing was no problem.

Good news is that this time next week you'll be a mother!

I was overdue as well with James 3 years ago...they broke my water at the hospital and didn't need to induced, that got the ball rolling fairly quick!
Good luck,
Petra

I thought your disappearance meant the baby was here. Sad to hear your baby likes living inside of you too much to come out :-( Hope you don't have to get induced! I love your progres on your Mirabilia...makes me want to stitch it.

the waiting is so hard...the hours look like days, and the minutes like hours, i was in labor 2 days, but, the doctors decide make a cesarea, for the health of my baby, and now (6 years old) she is a litle tournate of energy, and activity. i hope you will be good, and your baby too, take care both, hugs.

The little one will be here soon, he just don't want to come out and play just yet.
My first one was 2-1/2 weeks and I had to be induced, its not too bad.
Nice progress pic's

My daughter was late, too. I went in to be induced, but it just didn't feel right and I had them take me off so I could go home. Three days later I went into labor on my own :)

Good luck! I'm looking forward to your birth announcement post!

Hang in there, Sweetie. Don't dread an induction too much, if you have to have one. They aren't that bad - I had 4 - and the end-product is worth it. Hugs to you both waiting.

{{{{Cheryl}}}} I hope baby decides to put in an appearance soon. Don't dread the induction, they aren't too bad and do seriously consider an epidural(the best advice I got from a Midwife friend). I was induced and my only regret was that I didn't get the epidural soon enough!

Fingers crossed for you Cheryl - I've had 2 inductions - and got 2 beautiful girls - it's different for everyone, best advice is to try and keep calm and distract yourself, the waiting is the worst part. I wish you lots of luck and keep focussed on the baby you will have when it's all done.
