Kilt wearing Canadian

Look at my handsome hubby in a kilt (he's the one on the right)....the Canadian is Scottish at last!
We were at another wedding on saturday (the 3rd in 2 months) and DH was an usher. He was rather wary of having to wear a "skirt" but i thought it suited him! Here's a picture of the two of usIt was a good day!

Anyway, i haven't been doing much stitching in the last week. We had quite a few people staying with us at the weekend as they were up from England for the wedding, so that kept us busy. However, I have pulled out Dollhouse again and did a little bit tonight. Last time i updated on Dollhouse i had just finished the 4th room so as you can see i've started the room on the far right. This is a terrible picture in terrible lighting without a flash but it gives an idea of where i'm up to anywayI can only work on this a bit at a time as i get fed up changing thread colour so often!

It was fun seeing the update on dollhouse, even if the picture's coloring wasn't what you wanted. Sometimes it is just so hard to get a good picture to turn out.

Your DH does look very smart in his kilt. Glad that you had a good time, and the weather looks like it was wonderful for the wedding.

What a awesome picture of your hubby! I love a man in a kilt! On my Dad's side of the family is the Maclean clan. I have our clan colors and I have marched in with the clan during the Highland games here in georgia! It was soo cool!
Dollhouse looking good! Can't wait to start rr. Did you go to the blog and add to the contributing authors yet?

Great progress on the Dollhouse! And men in kilts are, simply, terribly sexy. ;)

Don't know what he's complaining about - kilts are sexy! I'm trying to persuade my 6yo DS to wear one for my sister's wedding next year, but he's rather sceptical!

Cheryl,
Do you mind if we use 28 count linen? Janice has a eye sight problem with 32, I'm ok with 28 count. Please post a answer on the rr blog. janice does not have a personal blog of her own.

Small world - both my parents and their brothers/sisters all went to the Grammar as well as my brother, sisters and me. My parents also both taught there. Your Dad could have been taught by my Dad (he taught physics)!

What a lovely picture of you both and I love your dress :) I think the men look fab in their kilts so much so I made my DH wear his to see in the Millenium and we were at freezing cold Whitby...lol, I let him wear it with a jumper and his boots so he didn't completely freeze ;-) Great progress on Dollshouse.
