Christmas ornie

Had to squeeze another post in for October. Thats 4 this month! Not posted this much since May! Im glad to be back to blogging.

As of today, babyT is 30wks so im due in 10 weeks! Hoping it will come sooner (not too soon, around 38weeks would be good though) Can you tell im impatient?! Its movements have really changed now, no longer little kicks here and there but big hard body movements! I can tell its got a lot bigger in the last few weeks.

I have another finish. I finished the stitching on this ages ago but just made it into an ornament last night. Its from the JCS 2006 Christmas issue. I was gonna give this away to someone as a gift but the finishing was a bit dodgy (i cut my linen down too close to the stitching) so im just keeping it for myself. Ive hung it over my mother-to-be cards, these cards are from Canadian friends and not that common over here (well not that ive seen anyway).

The clocks went back this weekend. Last night it was dark here about 5.30pm!! Its a bit depressing, but probably because its rained pretty much non-stop for the last 5 days as well. In the summer its light in Scotland until about 11pm so this is so different. I become more of a couch potato in winter thats for sure.

Working tonight, so im off today. Hoping to get out walking seeing as its dry for once. Have a good week!

That's a sweet little ornament!

I hate the clock change in the winter, I wasn't expecting it until next weekend, because it usually happens after half term (which is this week), so I'm especially grumpy about it this year ;)

A lovely orni Cheryl and I do like those cards, what a good idea.

My family laugh at me because I leave my car clock on BST, in anticipation of summer coming round again.

Love your ornament. We have those kinds of cards too...I think they even make dad-to-be and parent-to-be ones now.

We haven't turned our clocks back yet, this coming weekend. I always hate how dark it is in the evening after the clocks go back!

Lovely Orni & cards. :0)
I'm not so keen on going out much this end of the year either - still, it gives us longer evenings for stitching. LOL

Hey Cheryl. Ten more weeks to go! How exciting :o)
Yourornament looks fine to me. It looks super, in fact!
I don't mind the clock change, but Pelle doesn't 'get' it yet. He went to sleep at six this evening! Guess what time he will be up tomorrow morning [groan]...

The ornament is gorgeous. Glad to hear that things are going well with the baby.

10 more weeks...they'll feel like the longest 10 weeks and the shortest 10 weeks of your life. ;-)

We change our clocks back this coming weekend...not looking forward to it being dark so early in the evening, but such is life.

Great ornament.

Wow, only 10 weeks to go. Time flies. How exciting.

It is no fun when the clocks go back or forwards (especially forward!). When I lived in Northern Ireland it stayed light until very late (10 pm or so), and got light again (far too) early.

Your finishing isn't dodgy -- there's nothing dodgy about finished finishing! :)
